Welcome to SolSafaris! By using this website or booking our safari services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Contract Formation
• A contract is formed when SolSafaris confirms your booking and receives your deposit.
• By completing a booking, you accept these terms and conditions.
2. Services Included
Our safari packages include:
• Accommodation as specified in your itinerary.
• Transportation and transfers.
• Meals and beverages (as listed).
• Guided tours and park fees.
Exclusions:
• Flights, visas, personal expenses, and optional activities.
3. Booking and Payment
• A deposit of 50% is required to confirm your booking.
• The balance is due 35 days before departure.
4. Cancellation Policy
• By You: Refunds depend on the notice period:
• 100% refund for cancellations 60 days before trip.
• 50% refund for cancellations 45 days before trip.
• No refund for cancellations made within 35 days.
• Refunds will be credited only to the original credit/debit card used for the initial payment.
• By Us:
• While the company aims to avoid changes or cancellations, it maintains the right to do so if necessary.
• If such changes occur, the company will either:
a) Refund all monies paid by the customer, or
b) Offer an alternative holiday of comparable quality.
• The company may cancel a confirmed holiday with no compensation if the customer breaches the booking conditions or fails to comply with any requirement.
• Refunds will be credited only to the original credit/debit card used for the initial payment.
5. Health, Safety, and Insurance
• Travel insurance covering medical emergencies and cancellations is mandatory.
• SolSafaris requires clients to purchase travel insurance. We reserve the right to cancel your holiday at any time should such a policy not be taken out by you.
• You must inform us of any medical conditions or dietary needs.
6. Limitation of Liability
• Please note that the infrastructure in some developing countries may not match European standards. Occasional power cuts or water shortages may occur. We are not responsible for any injury, illness, death, loss (such as loss of enjoyment), damage, costs, or claims resulting from:
a) Actions of the affected person or their group.
b) A third party not connected to your holiday arrangements, which we could not predict or avoid.
c) Events or circumstances beyond our control (e.g., force majeure).
d) Faults of anyone not working for us at the time.
• Additionally, we are not responsible if you fail to enjoy your holiday or experience problems due to details you didn’t share with us when booking.
•We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or losses caused by force majeure events beyond our control, such as war, civil unrest, terrorism, natural disasters, pandemics, transport issues, or adverse weather. Refunds will not be issued in such cases, but any recoverable funds from our suppliers will be returned to you.
7. Complaints and Issues
• If you encounter any problems during your safari tour, please report them immediately to your tour driver or guide, either in person or by phone. If the issue cannot be resolved promptly, you must submit a written complaint within 14 days of returning from your trip. •
• Failure to report problems to the appropriate authority while on the tour may prevent the company from accepting responsibility, as they would not have had the chance to investigate and address the issue on-site.
8. Governing Law
• These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
